Life insurance coverage, handled.

Dandelion partners with Ladder to get your term life insurance quote started right in your Dandelion plan.

Explore Ladder coverage details

Ladder offers coverage from $100,000 to $8 million, terms of 10 to 30 years. Most applicants don’t need a medical exam for coverage up to $3 million, just a few health questions. Ladder doesn’t offer whole life, universal life, or other permanent policies, and there are no add-on riders.

We recommend Ladder because we trust them. We may be compensated if you apply through Dandelion.

Every document is attorney-designed and built to your state’s requirements. Ladder is underwritten by A-rated insurance carriers.

Common Questions

Documents and coverage FAQs.

Which states are available?

Playbook Only is available nationwide. Our complete plans with legal documents are available in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington. Create an account to be notified when documents become available in your state.

Do requirements vary by state?

Yes, in more ways than one. Your Will, Power of Attorney, and Advance Healthcare Directive are each built to your state's specific requirements, and the forms themselves differ. But what makes a document legally valid matters just as much as what it says, who needs to sign, whether you need a witness, whether it has to be notarized. We walk you through exactly what your state requires, step by step.

Will my bank or financial institution accept this Power of Attorney?

Yours is legally valid for the state you live in when you create it. That said, some banks and financial institutions prefer you use their own power of attorney form for accounts held with them. We recommend checking with any institution you have a relationship with to confirm their policy.

Can I customize what my Power of Attorney covers?

Yes. You choose the exact powers you want to grant, from banking and real estate to securities, digital assets, retirement accounts, business operations, and more. Nothing broader than what you select.

Do you offer springing Powers of Attorney?

No, we only offer durable, effective immediately. We believe that gives families the most protection when it matters. If you think a springing POA is the better fit for your situation, we can connect you with an estate attorney to weigh your options.

What if my situation changes after I create my documents?

Update them anytime, free with your membership. Add a child, change an address, name a new agent, whatever’s different. Dandie notices what’s changed in your life and nudges you before it matters.

Can I leave a gift to a charity in my Will?

Yes, you can name a charity as a beneficiary.

Can I specify when my kid(s)/a minor receives what I am leaving them?

Yes, you can specify in two ways. 1) Choose staged ages (25/30/35 or 30/35/40), or 2) set one age that you pick.

As it turns out, peace of mind feels pretty good.
